Welcome, Dr. Katie Stein, Assistant Principal
Dr. Katie Stein joins Lawrence High School as our newest Assistant Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.
She has been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty years and has worked with students ranging in age from middle school through high school in a variety of roles. She has been a seventh, eighth, and ninth-grade classroom social studies teacher, and has also been a Middle School Social Studies Facilitator for grades six to eight and the summer ESY Supervisor. Her academic background includes a Master of Arts in Administration, Supervision, and Curriculum Planning from Georgian Court University and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership focusing on Trauma-Informed Schools from the University of Southern Mississippi.
She is thrilled to bring her skills as an educator and leader to LHS, and looks forward to working diligently with the administration, faculty, staff, and the community to carry out the vision and mission of Lawrence High School. Dr. Stein believes that "education is a life-long process, and [expects] to continue to learn much about the uniqueness of LHS this year and in the future." She is also excited to unite her experience, openness to learning, and child-centered approach to support our students and believes that relationships among teachers, administrators, and families are vital to the success of our students and school.
